Yes. IF you remembered to select the Frontier Outpost building you built, and clicked on a button which let you place an Outpost on the world map, then all you need to do is drive into the Outpost on the world map. All cargo should immediately be moved into the Colony's frontier outpost storage.
Then, just drive back to the colony, or resume scavenging, or what have you. Also, welcome to the forums!
