Ottomans give Alexandira to Venice?

Playing Venice in the GC - 4.08 + plus that 6 letter event mod.

Early 1500s.

I have played very conservative game - very few wars.

Just got a very strange event. The Ottomans just gave me Alexandria!

Why?

The event triggers between June 1st 1492 and January 1st 1559 if Byzantium doesn't exist, Venice exists and Turkey owns province 744, i.e. Alexandria.

It's a rare event indeed - not only is it a B choice, but how often does the Ottoman AI actually succeed in beating the Mamelukes and getting Alexandria?

Yes, OE is sadly underpowered in the 1500's.

My luck wasn't all good. For some reason - I never got the Cyprus Inheritance.

I think the same event or similar is also present in vanilla 1.08. I never play mods, and I have had that choice as OE. So it has to be in.
