my flag folders is all stuffed, i have you latest polish flags etc etc but i also have lost the siena red flag. have a red flag for PRM.

have new yellow POM flag.

WHich folder was meant to be used for flags

You have two flag folders:
EU2/AGCEEP/Map/Flags => specific AGCEEP flags (provided by installer and RAR archive of AGCEEP)
EU2/Gfx/Map/Flags => original EU2 files or EGUFSM (if installed in EU2 folder)

confused

in my original eu2 1.09 I have a set of flags

on loading 1.56 recently, I received your new polish, pom flags etc, but lost PIS and PRM flag.
Berg COA stayed the same , but flag went to blue and yellow stripe.
BUR flag went to orange,
DAU went to yellow
but BAY was ok

And my BRI flag (ermines) was lost for the white and black cross which we discussed was wrong as this was the battle flag.

what i will do is reset (reinstall) agceep 1.56 and nothing else and let you know

reloaded and still have errors for following

mec - blue, yellow and red flag

lux - modern flag

bri - ermine but a poor version

ven - old eu2 version and not the tassels one

trez - is red with yellow eagle

all others in europe seem correct

my trebizond flag is dated 18/6/2002 and it is red with yellow eagle, what date is your flag?

The TUR has never been the same since we amended the BOS and WAL states to split away from the turkish alliance.

The TUR is seeing itself as a weaken state once the alliance is broken, they then wait till 1429 (annextion of antalya) to do anything, and then it s a moderate dow.. But If TUR get these Ghazi provinces early 1426 or is given them in 1419, then we have a TUR which is strong.

How do you expect TUR to do anything with only ALB in its alliance by 1427?

I suggest these changes

1. a quality of +1 in the military reforms event, for their elite units

2. remove all artillery at start (40 guns) and given the TUR 20000INF and 20000CAV, and later give the TUR the 40 guns in the 1456 events ie cannons event.

3. change the vassal events for WAL and BOS to be only loss of monies and give HUN cash instead.

4. eperiment with another owner change , to say 6 in the 1419 file

i tested 6 games (4 x beta 7 and 2 x beta 8) on tech level for TUR lower than starting number of 3.
result is worse than we currently have.

i still maintain all or some of prior post should be implemented

I agree it could be a reason. Even if Antalya is a weak province, I admit it could represent a threshold for activity because of the geopolitical situation of the Ottomans.

I agree lowering land tech level can't enhance situation. This is why I increased it for OE to be the first to reach tech 5 and be in time for medium fortress in Thrace, even if siege can be successful long before.

We could test the five suggestions (I suppose you alkready did it).


Remaining question is what should OE achieve military speaking between 1419 and 1429? Main problem is AI frozen country sometimes, isn't it?

At start of GC, the TUR is in an ideal alliance , but economically weak, this is why it just sits, ....then BOS and WAL go their own way and TUR by 1425 is only with ALB, it waits until it gains the 2 ghazi provinces before dowing CAN.

the issue we have, commenced once we introduced the mega events for BOS and WAL.
I am reading a "heavy" pro slav book called the late medieval balkans , by john Fine. I want to check all these vassalations and alliances, its no point in having so many of these "vassalations" in the first 10 years if they represent minor leaders of these states.

An alliance with Karaman would be ideal for TUR. ....but i need to check this.

It will not take much to start the turkish machine, just need to test one thing at a time.

i did test all my recommendations in one game together and the turk held moravia, carpathia, ruthenis, translvannia, banat , serbia, kosovo, bosnia and croatia, thrace, morea by 1465

In the event below, why does everything matter on ALB ?

If so, then why not a religion change in albania because they get no change out of this event
Would it be ideal to change albanian province to sunni religion as well ?

One of the major legacies of nearly five centuries of Ottoman rule was that the majority of Albanians, according to Ottoman data, had converted to Islam. Therefore, the nation emerged as nominally Muslim-majority after Albania's independence in November 1912.

In the North, the spread of Islam was slower due to Roman Catholic Church resistance and the mountainous terrain contributed to curb Muslim influence. In the center and south, however, Catholicism was not strong and by the end of the seventeenth century the region had largely adopted the religion of the growing Albanian Muslim elite. Yes, but this event is not about religion but culture for provinces. There is no religion change for other provinces. OE should try to convert.

I personally always seem to get dowed by everyone as Ottomans, even if I only have around 10 badboy, any idea why that is? I know theres an event to keep the ottomans badboy below 30, but, I'm afraid of going ANYWHERE near that number.
