Ottoman History question

I hope this is in the right forum, anyway I was playing the OE and was reading up on some of its history while practising being unproductive at work. A few of the articles mentioned the "Sword of Osman", does anyone know what became of this sword? I believe that all Sultans wore this sword for ceremonial puposes, what became of it after the republic was founded? I lived in Istanbul for 5 years and I don't seem to recall ever seeing such a thing in the museums/palaces.
