If at war with Byzantium, it would be nice if there was an event that allows you to purchase a cannon (so you can potentially get a cannon before tech 7) from Orban or alternatively hire a Rank 2 Military Engineer. It's mostly for flavor, and I don't see how one cannon could be too imbalanced, though an alternative to the cannon would be an increase in siege ability.
