Sure rivers and oceans are nice, but having the ability to plop in a small natural spring (hot springs too) or make creeks and smaller streams would be cool on a aesthetics level.

Not sure if the Map Editor can be done live once you created your city but I was pretty sure there was legitimate terrain editing tools to shape your world. Don't think there is things like Natural springs or hot springs though.
