Is there any other converter of Victoria games to Hoi2?

The one that's incorporated in the game crashes when converting, although creating the file. I use it in Hoi2 but the game freezes... So I wonder if there is another one I can use.

And soooooo many people complain about the converting between games! I don't generally convert my games, but I can understand why people would like to.

Most of the time I can't even get around to 1935, I end up ''winning'' by 1890 on the strategical front. I can never make it to 1935 unless It was a "conquer the world" game

Heh, the built in one is so much fun! I mean manowars are converted to lvl 1 battleships IIRC...

Well i don't remeber if it was exactly BB:s they converted to (I think it was), but I know for sure that they converted to a lvl 1 capital ship atleast.

Doesn't sound right to me.
Level 1 Battleships in Hoi2 are suppose to represent Dreadnoughts and level 1 Battlecrusiers Pre-Dreadnought battleships...

Well whether that is what it does or not, it can be unanimously agreed upon that there have been a lot of problems and bugs with the converters; so many that Paradox should really look into them.

Could it have something to do with any mods you're using? Or maybe you don't have DD or not updated to the right version? I tried to convert as well and that went without trouble, I could easily play the converted file in HoI2.

Wat I was wondering, do the usual HoI2 events still set off when you converted your game? To me it seems unlikely, because in my game for example, there is no USSR, no Poland, no Finland, no Balkan countries(Austria-Hungary still exists)...seems difficult to set of the Second World War without Poland to invade for example

You have to intentionally not conquer the world and instead be role playing.
