Right now we are building the foundation for a Mod to EU2 that comes with one scenario: a grand campaign. I propose that once we finish all the work we are on now, that we try and make maybe one or two other scenarios within the 1820-1914 timeframe. It won't be such a big deal; rather, just a matter of changing a few provinces and making a start file. Any comments?

The original intention was to do that. The options were 1848, some year before the American Civil War, and a scenario starting around 1870. I have no suggestions right now though.

I vote no... for the simple reason that it won't really add anything. But you're right in that it won't take much more work to do, so it woudlnt' require a large group of people to do it...

lets finish this one off first, eh:)

Here is the original intent( I remember, because I wrote it :))

I haven't really thought this through %100, but a scenario that starts around 1850 to 1880 would be fun. It would be entitled "Age of Nationalism" Proposed Nations would be :United States(they are dealing with Confederate States of America), Confederate States(dealing with USA), Prussia(working on uniting Germany) Sardinia( working to unite Italy), Ottoman Empire(working to keep empire intact), and the Austrian Empire(working to keep its empire intact). This scenario would be an "umbrella" containing 3 very highly requested scenarios: US Civil War, Unification of Germany, and Unification of Italy, as well as other "nationialistic" events in this time period. Of course monarchs, events, leaders, etc. would be drawn for non-playable nations for accuracy and fun purposes. The main problem would be the scale of the project, but it is certaintly possible

I will not stop until there is a US civil war scenario :)

(Notice how the original time period was 30 years, now its 100!)
BTW heres original thread...seems a bit dated
