There is this event in the game, but it gives only two options: the change of the Nazi leader (and the continuation of the same policy), and democratic elections. However, the goal of the conspirators was to establish an authoritarian - monarchical regime with the grandson of Welhelm II at the head.
It would be great if the event included a variant with Wilhelm of Prussia (yes, this one is also Wilhelm) and Germany's transition to a monarchical path.

I agree it would be nice if the Oster Conspiracy was fleshed out a bit more and wasn't actually a death sentence for Germany(at least, not necessarily). I think it can currently happen in game, but in practice it only ever seems to occur if Germany declares war on Czechoslovakia early and fails to make gains.

It is very unlikely for this to be changed at this point in the game's development.

Personally, I still hold out hope that one day after all the majors are done reworked, that Paradox will not rule out revisiting Germany again. It's not that Germany's focus tree is bad, it's not. However, given the huge number of players who play Germany, and the fact that it seems that most game hours spent in the game when you add up all the playtime of all the players seems to be for Germany, I don't think it would be bad to flesh out Germany even further.

When you have countries like Netherlands, Mexico, and Bulgaria with more fleshed out and interesting content than Germany, I think it's a bit of a problem. Thankfully it is not a pressing one, since as I said Germany's content is not bad. It could just be made even better and more expansive.
