Hello, I'm planning on my first EU4 game to be Poland, I have all the expansions. I racked up around 2000 hours on EU3, but this is my first time in EU4.
I want to play a very tolerant (culture wise, but not religion), utopian Orthodox Commonwealth that stretches from Bohemia to Far eastern Siberia. Basically a non-evil version of Russia and the Soviet Union of the modern times.
I've read a few pages of selling all the starting provinces other than the capital to Lithuania after the PU and improving relationship with Austria, and then expanding rapidly by taking out Teutonic Order and provinces outside the HRE, that I get, but I have a few questions.
- How likely is Lithuania going to try getting out of the PU now it has all the provinces.
- Should I try to get a PU on Bohemia? If I inherit the Bohemian throne, do I inherit the electorship like EU3.
- Should I try to get all the Ruthenian provinces from Hungary and wait until I accept them?
- How can I turn Orthodox in this game? If I turn Orthodox right after I get to be an elector, does that effect my electorship? Can I try to vassalize a couple more electors to become the emperor?
- Should I turn all my starting catholic provinces orthodox ASAP before any of them becomes protestant spewing holes?
- What ideas should I take in order to carve the model USSR in the 15th century?
- Also, how does trade work in this game, I still don't understand.
