Original Planetfall Crashes

Kenny at Paradox sent me here to see if Triumph Jordi or anybody else can help fix my crash.

I have played the game on Steam for years with no problem, but I just started the play the campaign where you build your own private Galactic Empire and hero with successive campaigns. Does this part of the game require more memeory and a better graphics card than when I first bought the game? It keeps crashing at the end of my campaign on the same exact turn.

Thank you, sir, but your response does not help me. I want to play all the versions from the beginning. The screen shot was optional, and I will provide it if you can help me solve my issue, but it does not sound like you can.
