original byzantian flag

I installed the latest beta with the new flags & shields. But i'm not really a fan of the new flag & shield of Byzantium.

Since i don't want to reinstall the vanilla version again, i was wondering if someone could give me the old flag & shield in an attachment.

Go slightly down on the page and ta-dah: There's the original shield. The flag wasn't changed in the latest beta.

thanks, but i think that the flag & shield of the original vanilla was different (more darker red). I'm refering to the rectangular flag, the beta flag is a square.

Well, historically it was square. The vanilla flag was quite innacurrate.

i know that it was inaccurate, but it looks better. Since i am playing the powerguy behind the ruler, i'll just order him to change the flag!

that's why i also use the yellow shield for the Papel States, it nicer & there's already an abundance of red in the shields & flags. I know that it may not be accurate, but i like it.

Your talking to MKJ - the man would would rather have a whole set of butt ugly flags and shields if they were "historically accurate" than actually having any nice shields...

the original Hannoverian flag is another one in the category "nicer but inaccurate"

anyway, nice to have a conversation about flags, but i still don't know where i can find the orginal Byzantian & Hannoverian flags unless i reinstall the original version..

I kept the GUFSM - birger jarls - Byzantium Shields cos I thought they were better as a CoA...I only transplanted the original Byz flag over...
