Original bookmark descriptions replaced with the new ones in Reapers Due patch

So apparently the new reapers due patch removed all the original start date descriptions which were conflicting with the descriptions that were added in the Charlemagne patch to the UI for start date/character selection. In the previous version the original text were still visible when using the custom start date option but now they are gone.

Any opinions? I sort of preferred the old ones they were more focused and "cool". The new ones on the other hand give more general information about the era.

The old ones were more "flavorful", but I guess the new ones give a better sense of what's going on on the whole map instead of just focusing on a single portion.

I think I liked the olds ones better, though, and - let's be honest - how many players aren't going to be familiar with the fact that other stuff is going on?

tl;dr they changed it now it sucks
