Is the designer of the boardgame taking any part in the computer game or these forums?

I don't think so. I have never seen a post from him on this forum, or the beta forum. However, the CG (Computer Game) is a pretty faithful recreation with many improvements. (This comes from those that own the boardgame and are beta testing the computer game.)
