As countless posts and ragequits have thus illustrated, one of the most hated events in EU4 is the "Hunting Accident" that involved your 5/6/4 heir who was about to inherit the throne from your 1/1/2 king *grumble grumble*

However, in history, the kings and dukes of Europe loved going on hunts for pleasure and to improve relations with subjects/allies. In the British Isles, they made certain forests their own personal hunting spots and made them off limits to peasants on pain of death. This is modeled in CK2 with their grand hunts.

Now imagine if we could, for a decent cost (maybe a few years' worth of income), organize a royal hunt for prestige, improved relations, lowered unrest and/or a chance of improving the king/heir. Through a decision, you would be able to invite the rulers/heirs of different nations over in order to raise relations or nobles to lower unrest in provinces. The more competent the organizing ruler, the better the effect would be. The involved parties would then have a chance to improve their martial skill or be killed in an accident, the latter causing tensions between the organizer and the affected party.

This would be useful in improving or getting rid of useless kings/heir, improving monarchs, and increasing the chances of getting a union. Of course, the standard loss of stability on monarch death would apply and the money spent would be, well, spent.

So does the idea sound fun and balanced or too unbalanced/Crusader King-sy to work?
