I know that with release there won't be this feature, to graphicly present orbital movement of the planets. I wonder if this could be implemented later on? Would make a nice addition and - if not movement for planets - then at least for moons. Except for the ships I haven't really seen any other possible movement in solar systems. Not that many other games from 4x genre has smth like this. But Stellaris should create new visions, new resolves to gameplay!

Not if it is just for the sake of it and not a strategic feature, otherwise it's just making the view messy and slowing the game down.

There was an old 4x called Malkari that I enjoyed where orbital motion was a central part of the gameplay.

The only 4x game with this feature I can think of off the top of my head is Distant Worlds, and once you get past the point where it stops being meaningful (i.e. when you discover warp travel), it serves as nothing but a visual gimmick and, often, an annoyance. I do enjoy it during that pre-warp period, but since it appears that at the moment (who knows with DLC- we got Old Gods and Charlemagne for CK2, after all) you can't play as a pre-warp species anyway, there's not much of a point.
