So the pop-up tooltip window says look for the +++++ or ----- for reactions or likelihood to accept a proposal.

But, where exactly are these before clicking send randomly?

I know I'm tired, but could use a little newb help here. Used to Sengoku, it had a thumbs up/down/neutral but I can't seem to find the + or - described.

Thanks...

Mouse over the yes/no when you have the request up. It will list of the things that increase and decrease chances, and will tell you if it is a yes or no.

Edit: Emued by 2 minutes, I'm slow.

Example: King of Norway needs a wife, Tuscanygirl (as i like to call her) is still single, but she has a -3 for wanting a matriarchal (yeah i've given up finding the word). and a -2 base. Then she has a +3 opinion of my King and +2 on title and +1 for the prestige. Meaning: +5 -5 = NO

So i give her a present of 60 gold, and i get +4 on opinion, and tadaaa, it is +6 -5 and i get myself a marriage... and 3 kids... (and i really needed those kids, as my ''Norwegian grownup kids'' Died... FAR too early! Oh well...

I've had a long day.. I don't even see the YES/NO tag. :(

Niece wants to get married, and is of age. Great, right click, view Diplomacy. See court members only, 2 are not of my Dynasty. Ok that's good, one is a son of a baron. That'll do pig.

I click to select the husband, but in the possible list, I don't see the Yes/No.

Now in the main Diplomacy screen I'm listed in the liege circles, my two selectees are there, there's a symbol for alliance, prestige gain, the Send button, but no YES/NO. Remedial help pls!

Maybe this only appears for non-members of your court?

I don't know if two people in your court, except for those that have there own court, like your advisors, can say no if you try to marry them. Is the send button blue or gray?

Also if you look at you niece's char portrait, you'll see two rings near her portrait, it's a short cut to check eligible men from around the world. In case you want to give you niece a husband with better stats, and land.

Ah ha, found the rings. In the selection list I now see eligible from around the world so that's more helpful than using the Diplomacy option off the character.

Now, about this YES/NO, I will try to propose one and see if the Send button or that screen gives me the missing tooltip. Silly things like this give the game character, no pun intended.

If its possible to marry two characters you'll be able to press the Yes/No button... you'd literally have to be blind to miss it. If its greyed out or you can see a Yes/No it simply means that you can't marry those two characters, although the game doesn't always specify why. Either investigate it or accept it that point, although you might not like the results... Earlier I was completely confused and a little angry that I couldn't marry my ruler (no option to send request) and about 20 seconds later I realized that I had somehow managed to get him on the screen with his own brother. MASSIVE facepalm ensued.

So when marrying amongst your court, as I thought that was the only choices, now plain as day the missing Yes/No tooltip and the hover over for info is right bloody there. LOL!

I thought I was missing something at first, and I was, when you are within your court, acceptance is always the case. >.< Damn, guess time to start over marrying off my daughters to peons in my own court..

If you are the liege of both sides of the marriage, there actually is no Yes/No button, there is a send of course. That's actually why I think that if you are the liege of both, they can't say no.

It even tells you if an alliance will be formed (the blue flag), if the person is an heir and what their title is, and of course stats/traits. It also seems to be sorted based on what the game thinks is the best choice that will say yes, so you don't have to look over everyone.
