At the moment we can see so many topics about coalitions, AE and core creation cost. There are changes in these parts of game in every single patch. What is sense of that? People will still be unsatisfied becouse everyone
wants something else. I think definitely best solution would be options in which we could set balance we like. There would be three levels of difficulty for each aspect and we could choose one. I think it's really simple idea which is also simple to do but can solve this problem.

Already the case: The defines.lua is a simply config file you can access and edit. All AE values are there.

Difficulty has nothing to do with the actual problems of AE and coalitions. Stop slapping people who dislike them in the face by ignoring what's actually said and tossing this nonsense out (yet again) please.

Three levels of difficulty doesn't mean actual difficulty level but three options for all aspects in which you could set balance you like. Then you could turn off coalition or select their power and strenght like you want. If you dont enjoy actual system, you could change it according to your own preferences,

Eliminating a non-functional system is not the same thing as fixing it. AE and coalition strength are not the issues with them. The issues with them is that they punish small nations, fail to punish big ones, and offer less reward to defeat than a small individual country regardless of their size.
