Hello,

Why is there not an option to increase the size of the demense without making it unlimited? I'd love to be able to create situations like the largely expanded royal demense of France after Philip Augustus without needing end game tech and laws to do it. In the normal game even if you optimize it as much as possible with a good character you're lucky if you can hold a few key cities and the greater area around Paris. Maybe something like 50-100% larger would be nice. Hell, in most start dates with important characters you usually start way over demense limit with just your historical titles. If there's a submod that already does this I'd be happy to use it instead. Love the mod though guys, it's the only way I've played CKII for the past almost half decade now, keep up the good work.

Thanks.

That would actually be a really neat feature, if one could take provinces above the limit with a scaling penalty to vassals' opinion and/or tax and/or levies. Everything would be fine as long as the monarch is buffed, but a mediocre monarch has to fall back to the legal limit coming from the realm laws.

I've been toying with ideas to make some additional options for taxing and demesne size, but only in thought. I'm also thinking about stuff like portraying the enclosure of commons by the ruler on the one hand and by the aristocracy on the other (with vassal opinion penalty and province instability as a side effect)...
