Option for governors to deal with trade?

I could've swore i read something about having this feature in a marius/HOA dev diary.

Did i imagine that?

So how is this feature used i can't find any obvious way in game?

Yeah, if you click Nation Overview -> Administration -> then for each province there's a button with an amphora pot and a big red X which you can click to toggle automated trading. I can't see the option for it in the map's province view, which feels like an oversight.
