Is it possible to add a colony option for automated colony management? Something like "this city annexes a random sector when needed, chooses its exploitation type based on number of icons (ties are resolved randomly), builds happiness buildings when necessary and stops growing when going into negative happiness".
My reasoning is that it takes too much time and effort to manage many cities on the largest maps (I like to fight multiple enemies when everyone has powerful armies).
In AoW3 I could use cities as gold mines: they grow on their own, I set them once to produce gold forever and forget about them unless there is an invasion.
In Planetfall I cannot let cities grow on their own, this will result in riots and lack of slots. So I need to manually build happiness buildings and then at some point I should prevent colonies from growing by exporting food to different colony. Also if I want to maximize income, I will need to manually annex sectors to get more colonist slots and improve the sectors.
