While AoD is, without a doubt, a considerable improvement over HOI2, there are some features which could have made experience considerably more enjoyable.
1. Decisions Interface. Ability to trigger events with a click ala EU3
2. Reworked TC to be saner/more interesting/more dynamic. For example, adding a TC Slider and IC upkeep cost for TC. If slider set above upkeep, TC slowly expands (and so does upkeep), if below, it slowly contracts.
3. Revolt risk management abstraction and interface. As it is now, you have to place Garrisons in a checker-pattern all over Europe. This is tedious, un-enjoyable and does not add strategic depth. A layer of abstraction would be much welcome (i.e. Interface in which suppression points can be assigned to regions.)
