I dont know why its like this but CK seems a step back from EU2, and i really tought it would have atleast the same complexcity, but its not sadly and even the graphics seem outdated and older then Victoria, why Paradox WHY???

Combat is too simple, the whole marriagethingy is far to boring and simplified, research is absolutely random, crusades (or the big crusade) aren't very realistic and the AI is simply put stupid and only dangerous when a whole lot stronger in Numbers. I think Paradox did put far to much weight on the eventsystem. Now don't get me wrong, the eventsystem is the very heart of all EU-Engine based tiles, It gives them a very high replay value and the whole Idea is quite revolutionary but I think more good old fashioned number-crunching with at least somewhat exceptable results (like in Vic) would make the game far better. The somewhat numerous Bugs don't help either.

Spruce said:- it seems the graphics are just right because the game is in the middle ages, so older then Victoria,

cmon eu2 lovers, cmon victoria lovers, cmon hoi lovers: just stick to your game, leave here and let us just enjoy ck. ck isnt about eu2 or hoi or victoria. so move.
if you press backspace it brings up a find province boxBeauclerc said:I'm fairly new to CK myself, and although I agree with those that say there are quite a few things in it that need sorting out ( a better interface for navigating through relevant info would be a start, having to hunt the map for a particular province is a bit of a pain for example) - I think the basic concept is a great idea, and the core of its implementation is there.
I just hope Paradox continue to improve it until it becomes the game it could be.
