Could you explain, how Germany was running out of trained soldiers by winter 1941 (severely under strength units), if they had 1 million men in reserve army (to replace losses) at Barbarossa's start, and supposedly suffered less casualties then that, during that time?
The list goes: "Killed, Died of Wounds, Wounded, Missing". If a soldier is captured, he is obviously missing. If he is killed, and no one can report him dead - he is also missing. Thus, number of POWs should be smaller, than numbers reported as missing. Yet, its the other way around. A+B=C, where A is captured, B is dead with no witnesses, C is missing. Germany was reporting C as being smaller than A. Only way it works mathematically, is if B is a negative number - which does not work in real life. Or are you going to argue for Nazi zombies?Captured is one thing, missing is another.
