Hi. Im now playing as Germany and have starterd the war against Soviet... but i have a damn anoying problem... it takes weeks to break trough, even in the smallest province. I've tried with "Very Easy", but this dossent work either.

Then i let the computer bot try, and somehow he breaks trough f.eks Kowel in two days... the same with 5 other provinces while i cannot break trough Kowel even tough i consentrate 70 divisjones, 12 40exp bombers, 6 20exp CAS. After 3 weeks im at the same place... or to say it like it is, on retreat... the enemy manage to send me back again.. and that fast.
As i said is used 2 weeks on a battle 70>15 but when he attacks its 30>15, and we wins, and with a fast break trough.

What am i doing wrong.. it worked well with the latest versjon.

Tanks. Tanks are a bitch to break (to 0 org). They will slow down any attack immensly, as far as I have noted.

Then there are rivers, of course. Each as good as the magnitot-line, only they don't break down after 1 month of battle. I don't remember if there are any rivers over there though.

And of course one more problem. Massing. You said that you massed an attack on Kovel. It's important to remember that since battles last so much longer, the enemy can reinforce the attacked provinces much more easily then in normal HoI. Attack everywhere, so he can't reinforce them all. And once you break trough, use that gap as much as you can. Tanks, mech, mot, anything fast. Break trough in two places, and you have an encirclement pretty soon.

I have tried to attack multiply possition at the same time.. but the same problem arrives... I loose the battle.

Thanks for the comment.. but the major question is why does the ai win the mutch faster?

I have developed many doctrines, so my SS units have almost 110 in orqinisation.

I can also say that i have editied a little bit... the speed for the inf. have been -5 and for mech, mot and arm -10. Police brigades have 15 in supresness and national starting value. Time to wait from one battle to another is just 1 hour.
And i have also decreased the IC and building time for something in building_costs.txt

Doing the Barbarossa as Germany in TRP is a completely different thing from doing it in vanilla HOI2. I try to have at least 20 ARM divisions to use as a spearhead and encirclement force. When I make breakthroughs ti can help to attack an adjacent province, thus luring enemy troops away from the province I'm actually going to attack. It's also well worth noting that in terms of defeating enemy ARM there's a huge difference between attacking plains compared to attacking other types of terrain. Making a primary strike through a forest or across a river is always very difficult.
