Direct question: has the game-wrecking interaction of Ewiger Landfriede with being a PU junior been fixed?
Ah wow OK. I am nearly certain that that's a change from 1.4.1 and 1.4.1.1. And it very much sounds like a bug, because that would be a big change and I definitely don't recall seeing a patch note reference to it being deliberate.
Colonies auto-core, so your own colonies would always be a core and would always trigger a new CN.
No.. its wad.
only when you have cored 5 provinces that they form a new nation...
v1.4.1.5 beta patch is out, notes please!
blast! WTF are you doing?
ok, will wait.Normally the patch notes come at the same time. Given there's no patch notes, perhaps they pushed the Go button on Steam too soon and they'll put it back out again when the patch notes are ready. Hopefully soon!
No, we don't. You will have months of gameplay once the patch comes out. It's far better to wait another week, even two weeks, to get a reliable 1.5 than it is for them to rush 1.5 out and you get a broken 1.5 that means you still can't play Ironman, but for months.
Think about it - why aren't you just playing Ironman happily right now? Because 1.4 is too buggy. So do you really want 1.5 to have similar bugs, meaning you still can't play Ironman until 1.6? Which might be two months away?
Be patient, and give them time to get 1.5 really stable and really reliable.
The current status of 1.4.1.2 indicates there's still a long way to go. Most of the major, game-breaking bugs reported against 1.4.1.1 still exist in 1.4.1.2. And 1.4.1.2 adds new ones. It also adds the rather unpopular Great Power Alliance limitation, which needs tweaking if it's going to remain in the game at all.
Maybe they will release a 1.5 with all those issues fixed, and no new issues added. But I would far, far rather they release another beta, 1.4.1.3, showing those major issues are fixed and giving us all a time to verify the fixes and confirm there's no unexpected/undesired consequences of the fixes. And they quite likely need more time to ensure those fixes are made.
Please don't push for a 1.5 release - it will come when it's ready and when it's reliable. And you really really don't want it to come before it's properly fixed, do you? Then you'd be in exactly the same situation you are now with 1.4, except it will last months more instead of a week or two more.
PDS - please give us a 1.4.1.3 beta and please take your time to make sure the major issues are fixed before 1.5 hits. It's far better to delay it and get it right. We need 1.5 to be as stable and reliable as possible, and be much better than 1.4.1.
Yes exactly that, click on the name like in EU3. This does not work for me. =S (game up-to-date and so on)It works fine. What exactly are you doing when you try it? You just click on the name of the province capital, see the cursor, and start changing stuff..

Not for this patch. =P I thought he meant renaming province capitals works fine in the stable version already but if it's in this upcoming patch I will gladly wait. Are you opted into the beta?

Will the new beta be released today? I can't wait for the new console command. It will save so much time.

I'm really liking the Border Distance in the province tooltip, that's unexpected and very helpful. I'm going to have this enabled in every game I play.
It is in Norway too. That's why I asked in the first place. I'm quite sure I will have to wait for tomorrow, but that's ok. After all, I have waited for this since August...Not looking likely for 1.4.1.6 today I'd sayIt's 19.30 already in Sweden.
And now 1.4.1.2 is back there.. So I guess 1.4.1.5 isn't coming back any time soon.
Now I don't know if I should be raising bug reports against it notSo far, all of the bugs I raised in 1.4.1.2 and have re-tested in 1.4.1.5 still exist in 1.4.1.5
