Open Beta Patch 2.2.1.1 instant crash

Ok,so I updated to the newest beta and once I click play on the launcher the game just crashes giving me this message :



Seeing as others had issues like this I tried the multiple steps suggested in other threads

Please go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\crusader kings ii\DX\ and run dxsetup.exe
Please go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\crusader kings ii\ and run vcredist.exe

If that doesn't help, please try installing:

First: http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=8328

Then: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=35

Did all this,and still getting an error,but once I revert from the beta patch the game runs just fine.

Been having the same issue, switching off the CKII-EUIV Converter DLC seems to fix it for me.
