We have setup a new opt-in open beta branch for Barbarossa, again named open_beta. If the branch does not appear, restarting Steam should fix it.
This is meant for the brave souls who want to try out the upcoming fixes & balance changes early.
As for previous open betas, this branch is a work-in-progress that has yet to go through our full release QA process, so while we try to keep relatively stable you may experience new issues or crashes.
Going forward we hope to be able to release hotfixes on a more regular schedule, roughly once a month, starting with an Open Beta (like this one) followed by a proper Live release in the following week(s). Before you all jump on the "reply" button with a list of issues, please keep in mind that we do not plan to have a fully dedicated staff for those releases (like the Stellaris Custodians) at the moment. Most of team's time will still be spent reworking [REDACTED] and making a new focus tree for [REDACTED].
Feel free to leave your feedback in this thread or in the bug report forum as usual, especially if you encounter new issues not present in 1.11.8, or if something marked as fixed in the below changelog still occurs for you.
