Many thanks for the new build - sensational work Mat and everyone else involved :) I'll fire up a new game on the new build later today, and report as appropriate. It's summer over here, so hot code is very appropriate :)

- Naval Supply routes now respect blocked region flags.

- Capital supply connection graph will now prioritize shorter sea routes

This is great news, will give this a good look :)

Just want to note a small bug, in that Hirohito doesn't get the Imperial Sanctions trait from the Kodoha event (WTT_japan.108) even though it is meant to be removed later on in the non-aligned tree . It could be quickly fixed by just adding imperial_sanctions to the traits on the already stated event.

Also, are there any plans to change the Army Morale chief of army to providing a recovery rate bonus again rather than a 'non-combat out of supply penalty'?

That looks like an intentional change in 1.11

Meh news:
So far, it's still a bit screwy; i.e. the US still feeds the west coast and Pacific from the East initially, and the Soviets still do everything from Leningrad initially. Probably a distance factor in the calculations somewhere.

Good news!!
*BUT*, if you block Baltimore it'll feed from somewhere else. Same for the Soviets, if you block Leningrad, it will find other ways. Block the Channel, and supply will flow from other than London. Block Tokyo Bay, and supply will flow from elsewhere. No longer stuck on "If I can't use this port, you can do without!!"

Bad news: They broke (as far as I could tell) the upgrade-rail-to-capital tool.

The last thing is a mere annoyance vs having the sea supply able to react to blocked ports.

Will see what I see later. Going to see if Italy will supply North Africa for the German allies with Gibraltar and Suez closed...

Still on vacation, but how did it break? It just doesn't do anything when clicked or?
Yes, basically nothing. I did manage to once select Rostov, and it upgraded Moscow-->Leningrad, but, maybe I clicked something weird; other than that, yes. Nothing. I'm sure it's fixable, and, as I said, compared to the improvements to port supply, it's a mere annoyance.

EDIT: of course, now that I typed that, it's working...something intermittent? Maybe doesn't work at clock 0/initial load? Not sure.

In other good news:

Those are German troops being supplied from their ally Italy, w/o even having closed Gibraltar/Suez.

Can confirm that there definitely is an instance when clicking the upgrade-to-capital button does not work (it is there, but does nothing when clicked). Can't reproduce consistently though.

It might be that it happens when some section of the rail has not been converted yet, or if parts of the route to be upgraded are held by an ally.

Giving it a lash and can happily confirm that the supply routes avoid blocked zones, even when going from rail to sea :).

However, at sea (and when going to sea as well, although this isn't a case of no longer), they no longer avoid zones that are marked "yellow". I'd suggest making the "first sea zone in the supply chain" follow the rules that used to be the case for the other sea zones in the supply chain, such that they would avoid yellow if a clear zone was available, and then avoid red, including through yellow zones if no clear zone was available. Making it so that supply chains only respond to the red shading makes the "convoy game" less nuanced, and is potentially confusing for players used to the old way it worked.

Edit: Sorry - convoys are still sometimes responding to the yellow zones at sea, but not always (and never in the first sea zone of the convoy path) - I clearly needed to test more. Either way, I'd suggest consistency, and a system where yellow was avoided where clear zones were available /edit.

It also means you don't need to change your tooltip if it goes back to working this way :)

Seems like the San Fran one is one that doesn't like to work. But go one base down, and it works fine.

But, still somehow, a 'non-working' one somehow upgraded the Moscow-to-Leningrad rail to a 5. There's some intermittent issues there. More annoying than anything.

Notes: If you judiciously upgrade some rail you can make all 4 main sea areas for the Soviet Union work fine and not go so far around the horn. Murmansk, Rostov, Vladivostok, and Leningrad. Don't upgrade the Leningrad run. Just build the others to 3s as well.

You can do a similar thing in the US to California.

And, yes, France is flexible as well.

Just a quick "still getting false positives for low supply" - but I've finally worked out how to repro it (deleting air wings can trigger a "very bad" supply alert - I can dig this, aircraft are cool, so when they're deleted the region is suddenly facing a sudden deficit in coolness supply :) ) - reported here (it's obviously not a game-breaking issue, but might be an easy fix?) :

Also @MatRopert - if easy, and assuming I haven't been dopey and just missed it, is there any chance of popping the checksum for the current beta build somewhere, so we know we're on the right version? In the past it's been included in the OP, and the post when you've let us know there's a new build out.

It's in the thread title, c53d ;)
Still, wouldn't be a bad idea to add it next to patch notes.

Nice, that we get an Upgrade for the Beta-Test on V.11.5 to get lesser small and medium Bugfixes like in the last big Version (V.1.10.x). Several bigger and long time Beta-Tested ones are the correct way.

The "DETAILS" in the Air Combat view are still not working correctly. As Germany it still shows how many of GER Bombers were shot down in Western Germany and I have not yet had any Bombers in that part of the sky yet. I feel like other categories are still off, but the Bombers are the only ones I know are incorrect. Great job, loving this DLC.

Sadly the patch does not appear to fix the Spanish Falangelist focus tree.

Despite Jose Antonio Primo de Rivera being the current country leader, having full control over Spanish Africa, and having completed the prerequisite Stengthen the Supreme Reality of Spaing - the "Will to Empire" focus tree selection is not allowable.

Should note that this is an ironman game that was started Jan3 2022.
Opted into the beta patch on Jan5 2022.
