- Will have to test the Montreux Convention because I think that has been broken for literal years lol. Really nice if it's working now. If it is working now then I suggest adding an event or something that allows Germany to transfer/spawn 6 submarines over land/canals to the Black Sea. Which is what they did in real life.

- Has the naval bug mentioned here with AI fleets (like the Soviet fleet) effectively being stuck in port because they are trying to merge ships through straits been fixed?

- I suggest the Bugfixer Devs look at these three mods by @KubiG37 (I think that's who made them) because they contain a lot of fixes and improvements that should probably be integrated into vanilla. They're basically 3 community patch mods.




Regarding the Transport Plane supply mission issue. The way that Transport Planes work with the supply mission currently is too simplistic. Sure you can just completely nerf their ability to deliver supplies but that is not a good solution, that's taking a sledgehammer to it. What the issue requires is more work on Transport Plane mechanics.

Currently the game treats Transport Planes like they are magic. They can load and deliver all types of supplies. In real life Transport Planes could only deliver smaller/lighter supplies and small numbers of men. Unless you had very big ones (Messerschmitt Me 323 Gigant - Hughes H-4 Hercules etc.) which the game doesn't have yet.

Another issue is that the game makes no distinction between dropping supplies by parachute and landing supplies via Airbase. This is also something that needs to be added. Landing supplies via Airbase would be much more effective but require the ownership of the local Airbase and then transport of the supplies from that Airbase to the Divisions in the field.

Additional thoughts:

I think Dozer Blades should increase entrench speed not make entrenchment better.

Please make it possible to naval invade the western side of the Panama Canal province. Playing as Japan and not being able to do this bothers me lol. Shouldn't have to declare war on Panama to do this.

Please extend the Westwall/Siegfried Line further north as it was historically.

Am I the only one who doesn't see country leader names or advisor names? I only see mexico leaders name for some reason, other than that it's just blank.

Didn't have this before I installed beta.
No, you're not.
After playing for like 5 minutes I also start loosing names of stuff. Country leaders and advisors are all just blank.
I reverted from the beta and loaded up the same save and everyone was using their "code names" (like SOV_Iosif_Stalin) instead of getting the proper ones.
I have no idea why this might be happening...

Not sure if fixed but with Estonia, the true enemy focus tree selects the Provisional Russian Government as an opponent even if its still fighting (and losing) against the USSR. The trees should target all versions of Russia as a potential enemy to defend oneself from. There is another focus that gives you a bonus as well against only one type of Russia (whether winning or losing during their civil war).

Importantly, when building railroads and supply hubs, you can't see the names of urban centers or ports. You have to zoom in on the tile to see if it looks like an urban center. This is not the case when building forts. It would be useful to see tile names when building up your supply routes.

Another one is, while playing as Estonia and getting the CB against Latvia and Lithuania, the Latvia in my game was split in two (a regular one and a communist one). Estonia only had a CB against the communist Latvia. When trying to fabricate claims on the regular Latvia, the fabrication would disappear after a few days; stealing the PP that was paid for it. The solution would be to give a CB to all forms of countries in the region you'd originally get said CB in.

Will there be a fix for Poland getting a wargoal on itself when dismissing the Lithuanian claim to the throne? The event meant for Lithuania gets sent to Poland instead, along with said wargoal.

@MatRopert, are there any plans to address tank balance? It seems that tanks now cost significantly more in terms of IC while having generally worse all-around stats compared to their non-NSB fixed versions. Is this on purpose or can the numbers still be tweaked?

In addition to the loss of leader and advisor names, I get a freeze whenever any save is performed the COMECON is formed. This was also present before the beta update.

I hope there would be a way for South Africa to request Mozambique so that they can form Mutapa (or with an appropriate name as a British subject).

But is their ideologies corrected to non-aligned too? It's better for them to be like India, only moved to Democratic after upgrading to Dominion/Supervised State autonomy status. Thank you.

Also, has the Northern Coastal Railway of Java (state 335) has been implemented correctly? If not then i'll propose it again here.

Make it runs along from Batavia (7381) to Soerabaja (4608) in a straight line (no diverting towards Djogjakarta/7642).
So that the proper course is:
7381 (Batavia) - 12249 - 1386 - 7223 - 12277 (Semarang, create a Supply Hub here) - 12293 - 10491 - 4608 (Soerabaja)

In the current version of the game, the railway for Java follows the course of Javanese Southern Railway (7381 - 4406 - 1425 - 4621 - 4434 - 7642 (Djogjakarta, Supply Hub) - 10135 - 10491 - 4608 (Soerabaja)). In 1930s Indonesia, the Southern Line has far more limited railway capacity than the Northern Line and mostly used for cargo transport.

Even now, the Southern Line has not been properly realigned into double track railway, whilst the Northern Line has just recently doubled on 2015 to accommodate the enormous cargo demand throughout the island's three biggest ports in Batavia (Jakarta), Semarang, and Surabaya.

Thanks beforehand, hope that 1.11.4 would be better than previous versions.

Paradox keeps making the same mistake again and again. Each time they change states, some old formable nation or focus doesn't account for those.
I'm still waiting for my Arabia fix promised back then in PDXCon

Beta going well so far. This is the tiniest of bugs, but "liaisons" isn't spelled correctly in the air force spirits (at least for SOV), as per the screenshot below. Not a typo, but I suspect "Air Crew" should be "Aircrew" as well - see https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/aircrew.

I can do a full bug report if necessary, but given this is pretty straightforward, and I doubt the forum bug reports go into your system (ie, it'd be a bit "make-work"), I haven't for the moment - but if it'd help just say the word :).

Another complete game-breaker (/sarcasm :) ) but the leaders appear to have lost their names - apologies if this is a known issue, I went looking for Chiang and couldn't find him, but then realised after writing all this that it's everyone:

Version: 1.11.4.45cf
Checksum: 6c71
DLC enabled: All except music packs with vocals in them (I just like instrumental soundtracks)

Repro steps:
1) Load attached save (SOV open beta - 20211127) and play as SOV
2) Observe in the event pop-up that opens on loading that in the second line, there's a space where Chiang's name should be (this is what alerted me to the issue). See first screenshot below.
3) Bring up Nationalist China's diplomatic page and hover over the portrait.
4) Observe as per the first screenshot below there's no name for our mate Chiang.
5) Bring up Germany's diplomatic page and hover over the portrait.
6) Observe as per the second screenshot below there's no name for Adolf.

These may be separate issues, but I'd bet a packet of chips - nice ones - that they're connected.

In old versions, I can write desc for the country_leader,idea,general and admiral, but after the update of Barbarossa, I can only write desc for country_leader and idea.Desc written for general and admiral doesn't take effect.Even if using the code of old versions to add a general with desc, the desc won't be displayed.

I wonder whether the code for adding desc has been changed or the function of adding desc has been removed
Welcome to the forums, Henry! I am not a modder, but haven't general and admirals been incorporated into the new Character system? I noticed the User Mods subforum has a guide for converting old-style characters to Barbarossa Characters; maybe you need to convert your mod's generals and admirals???

Generals and admirals have been incorporated into the new character system,but “desc” is invalid .
I try to write "desc" in different places, but nothing is displayed when I put the mouse over the general picture.

But is their ideologies corrected to non-aligned too? It's better for them to be like India, only moved to Democratic after upgrading to Dominion/Supervised State autonomy status. Thank you.

Make it runs along from Batavia (7381) to Soerabaja (4608) in a straight line (no diverting towards Djogjakarta/7642).
So that the proper course is:
7381 (Batavia) - 12249 - 1386 - 7223 - 12277 (Semarang, create a Supply Hub here) - 12293 - 10491 - 4608 (Soerabaja)

In the current version of the game, the railway for Java follows the course of Javanese Southern Railway (7381 - 4406 - 1425 - 4621 - 4434 - 7642 (Djogjakarta, Supply Hub) - 10135 - 10491 - 4608 (Soerabaja)). In 1930s Indonesia, the Southern Line has far more limited railway capacity than the Northern Line and mostly used for cargo transport.

Even now, the Southern Line has not been properly realigned into double track railway, whilst the Northern Line has just recently doubled on 2015 to accommodate the enormous cargo demand throughout the island's three biggest ports in Batavia (Jakarta), Semarang, and Surabaya.

is it always? or specific. if you got a save please make a bug report in the report forum in case its a specific situation

I just ran into the same issue playing in the beta as Soviets. When I started war with Iran my volunteers in Spain never came home. As others have described, I saw the icon that they were in transfer, but it later disappeared. I played forward 1.5 months and they never appeared. Losing 6 of my 11 tank divisions is a pretty big penalty if I continue. :)

I've attached a save from immediately before I started the war which triggered the return of the volunteers. I was able to reproduce the same situation by loading that save, declaring war, and then letting time pass. The volunteer transfer icon shows for 14 days, then disappears, but the divisions never show up again. Hope this is helpful in fixing it.
