OOS all the time at the moment

Fully up to date, all DLC and was not a problem for about a year. Now me and my friend who love a bit of Stellaris in the evening can’t even get a few decades into a new game without OOS happening all the time.
It’s so frustrating. Anyone else found this has recently become an issue?

What does OOS mean?

Is this a Mac thing? If you are on an m1 Mac then mid game crashes are common

Out of sync - no on PC windows 11

used to be able to both do very late game crisis etc no probs but as of the past few weeks it’s impossible

No mods. And now 2 games, one late and one around the time of the Khan (which I set to spawn pretty early).
