there have been a couple of changes to the GM-system, regarding both personnel and job definition. Hopefully, these changes will allow the GM to do their job more effectively and in a more transparent manner.
I'll list the changes here for your information; the Rules and Game Setting thread will be updated to reflect them shortly.
(1) Personnel changes: BusterBunny stepped down as GM a few days ago, and Captain Krunch indicated he won't have the time to do the job either. So, first things first: I'd like to thank both BB and CK for their dedication and service to Eutopia over the last few months.
(2) Given those personnel changes as well as the development of the game over the last few months, the job definition of the GM will be drastically redefined. To begin with, there will only be three GM, not five.
(3) Each of the three GM will be responsible for specific tasks: there will be a GM Events (does official game events and all High Court stuff), a GM Content (does game background/setting, controls the formation of social organizations, controls certain in-game appointments such as mayors, First Ministers and military personnel), and a GM Admin (ensures people follow the rules and don't violate game parameters, suspends/bans players or organizations when necessary, does party/organization registration, maintains citizen register, does elections).
(4) As you may have noticed, the position of CRO has been folded into the GM Admin (or in in-game terms, the CRO is no longer an appointed position, but a civil service position). The CRO is essentially an administrative position as it is, so this shouldn't affect gameplay. GM remain barred from the following offices: President, Minister, Speaker, MP.
(5) New GM-roster:
GM Events: Blade! (seems events are unfolding as we speak)
GM Content: Vulture
GM Admin: Melanchthon
