Thankfully, Portugal joins the war. The second occupation of their colonies should convince the British to concede. Sadly, the Boers will be fighting their brothers in die Nederlands.
Natalia's few defenses are overrun; most citizens are happy to see their fellow Afrikaners.
Many of the soldiers fighting in Mozambique are returning to familiar land. But others, especially newly raised Zulu brigades, are green troops. The army had thankfully undergone massive expansion in the last two years since the Portuguese war.
The exact same brigades who experienced the last Angola Coast campaign return to similarly mosquito-infested land. However, new medicines have made a difference.

Meanwhile, the new Suid Afrikaanse Marine was striking directly at the British blockade, and doing one hell of a job!
Colonization of the Northern Cape began. Even during the war intrepid Afrikaners could be found to venture into the wild bush.

The Zulus really proved themselves in this engagement. The Dutch were pursued into the wild, and destroyed by attrition and Kommando raiding parties.
Suid Afrikan voting laws were improved.
Once again, the title of "Groot Power" was grudgingly handed over to Van Der Merwe.
It was so much for him, he died from shock.
The new PM must be elected!
Damnation! The world dosen't think we're freeky enough.
Once again, Suid Afrika was at risk of losing "Groot Power" status.
But that was prevented by 'n ONGELOOFLIKE OORWINNING!!!!! (incredible victory.)

Thanks! Here's the link to the beginning of my Suid Afrika Mini Mod for APD (APD is required). So far I have incorporated the pop changes, my modifications to KanyeWest's titles for govs, more General/Admiral names, accepted cultues, flags, etc. Note that Suid Afrika still begins in British control in 1836, I need to change that. Just play as Britain and release, then press "play as"

Like Natalia years earlier, the adventurous Boers were once again trekking into the Bush. Except this time, they were under our jurisdiction. They forced out the Ndebele to form the new colony Traansval. It was essentially an autonomous Suid Afrikan province.
The new borders.
The tax code was reformed, and more money was made than ever before.
The war continued in the background. Oman had been brought to its knees.

@omen No problem! I'm thinking about expanding that file with more documents, like new Boer republics. It wasn't just Oranje Vrystaat, Transvaal Republiek, and Natalia. There's also Stellaland, Goshen, Klein Vrystaat, Nieuwe Republiek, and the Griekwalands (I will also make events to form them). There also needs to be Coloured POPs and the separation of Afrikaners from Boers. There is a distinction. And possibly an event to add Coloured as an accepted POP.
I also want an independent Cape Colony Afrikaans Republiek, (Kaapkolonie?)
Sorry for the rambling post, I obviously have some work ahead of me. (PS: the flags you see in the file are not finished, for example I will probably replace the Default/Democracy flag with the vyfkleur, but that will be after the AAR since I started with the Nieuwe Republiek flag)

More progress, the Republic is laying the groundwork for what could be a vast territory once the colonial techs are unlocked. Hopefully another opportunity to remove the Portuguese influence will present itself soon.
Fear not friends, the Portuguese will soon be relieved of the pesky task of administering Mosambiek!
Mainly infamy issues. I want to own everything from cape to cairo, and that means conquering Portugal's colonies, Somalia, Ethiopia, and eventually Egypt (after I build the canal).

In a rather serious blunder, the Somalians were underestimated. Eventually, a movie was made called "Swart Valk Ondertoe"
It was rather patriotic, at least patriotic enough for it's title to be painted in Prinsevlag driekleur...

Next on the list is the Kaapstaat, Niewe Republiek, Griekwaland, Kleine Vrystaat, Stellaland, etc. and the Trekboer/Griekwa trek events to accompany them. I will also separate "South Africa" and "Suid Afrika" (South Africa being the Brit-dominated version).

Does the event that creates the Boer Republics create more Boer pops that could be beneficial to you? How long do you expect it to take for you to integrate them?
