Only part of screen showing

I have gotten a new computer (screen resolution 2880x1620) and tried to run CK2, and this is how it appeared:

Any fix for this?

Running win8.1 pro if that helps...

Try editing documents/paradox/ck2/settings.txt in notepad. Change the x/y sizes to something modest like 1280x1024. If that works you can then try higher resolutions.

I changed it to 1280x1024 and it still looks the same... it's really weird...

There was a bug with the launcher in 2.16 when the Windows display was set to 150%.
Maybe this applies here in some way as well...

The solution was to

There's a bug in 2.1.6 when Windows Display is set to 150%.
You should reduce this to 125% or 100%
or
right click ck2game.exe - properties -compatibility -check "Disable display scaling on high DPI settings"

Try the latter.

Weel, since the launcher and the game are now in one exe,....though that was the case in 2.1.6 already...who knows. :unsure:

It's Win 8.1. No idea how that works.

The launcher became smaller and the game screen too (now it fits)
