Only one leader gains exp. in a battle?

Is this true, I can't figure it out from the manual. If I have multiple leaders in a battle, only the highest ranking one gets exp.?

What about air leaders. In base HOI2, they gained exp. from attacking ground forces, now it seems like they don't. I've only played a little bit on DD, and the manuel doesn't seem to help on this matter very much.

Without reading through 23 pages, is there a good way of returning to the base way of gaining experience?

Some suggested to use the old (DD1.0) .exe-file. Might cause some crashes, though...

Unfortunately this is true. Only the highest ranking leader can gain XP and there is no XP from bombing. Look at my sig or at this for more details. Join us in the Cause to change it back to the good old way.

sorry to say but it is hardcoded into the .exe file, so there is no way to change it. Like one person wrote about trying the 1.0 exe file, but more than likelly there are multiple chances for it to crash.
