Only 20ish hours?

can only go based on reviews. I'm not willing to spend $20 (yet alone $50ish) on a 20 hour title in 2016.

This is so typical. "I didn't play the game and base my opinion solely on reviews, but I hate it!".

While I do get your point about longevity of a game, Tyranny has high replay value, with the ability to choose major details of Kyros' campaign that affect the world you're thrown into in a big way, and the devs stressed this a lot. And yes, as other people mentioned in this thread, you can run through any game without completing any of the side-stories and rush to the end in the blink of an eye, but that's not what gaming is about now, is it?

Here's a video of a Baldur's Gate II 23 minutes speed run, and this isn't even the fastest one. I guess you get my point.

Assuming the game is ~20 hours long, and you spend only 50 dollars on the game, you are only spending 2 1/2 dollars an hour for it. That is still a better rate than most other forms of entertainment to value. Now I understand wanting more for your dollar, but taking into consideration how replay-able it is, that adds even more to it.

I have made my first ally in the crossing and now i have to chose who i am going to approach for my next alliance between the earth mages and the unbroken.And the excuse is that can't approach both of them because i am single guy and we don't have the time.Now comes the problem.... i have spend 50 days running around trying to choose my party members.

Finished the game in 15-16 hours and did all the side quests that I could find.

What is your opinion on replayability. I personally enjoy it so far and plan to make a second play through, but I am curious what others think.

Apart from the ending, that seemed to suddenly jump from nowhere, get's me all excited and just ends, leaving me somewhat unsatisfied. I did enjoy it well enough (Afterall, I did play 16 hours of it in 24 hours) and I am most likely going to replay it alteast once.

I have yet to get to the ending. I am curious to see what people mean by how it feels disjunct.

I did the final act (game has 3 acts) in 2 hours, that should say how sudden it was

I wonder why it is so sudden... I mean it did not seem like they were running short on time.

And there was some hyping of an Archaon and their army coming to the Tiers to put an end to the silliness, but that didn't happen at all, actually, very little happened in the end

Then I am perfectly content with having an ending like that. Mostly because I really want a DLC for it later down the road.

The spoilers are like clickbait I can see what you mean. I think it may have been slightly rushed from what it seems. I will need to judge for myself of course, but that brings more light to other's claims. I hope they can tie it better with a sequel.

I'd honestly wish dlc/expansion/update that adds more to the end. The final act did have some very cool moments, but as I've said above, it just felt rushed

Mate i am at the unbound and i have finished 5-7 side quests.Does it pick up in way of quantity or is it that bare bones?And can you tell me around how much of the game have i finished?Like did i played a fifth or a sixth of the game.

There really aren't that many side quests.
And by unbound, do you mean Unbroken?(Or South-East of the world map) if so, after I had finished with that area, I had played ~9-10 hours and had 6-7 hours left

In my game were I tried to do everything I could find, I got 17 sidequests and 22 main quests, on average of the four major areas I could go to that made it about 4 side quests per area.

Are you sure? What proof do you have that a story needs more than that to be told? Have you ever played Age of Decadence?
It had an amazing story and in one play, I only completed 18 quests from start to finish.
It also took about 10 hours per play, and I have replayed it now 6 times and not finished the entire possible story outcomes.

My point here being, you should not judge a book by the book's cover until you have bothered to see under it for yourself. I personally love the game and will likely see the ending as a slight road bump until a sequel comes out.
