Hey there,

Just bought the game. I was really looking forward to some online play, but no one seems to be around. Is this a problem at my end, or is there really no one ever in the metaserver?

I hope I'll be able to play online!!!

Make sure to check out the Multi-Player Sub Forum, for a list of games being scheduled in advance.

It's often the best way to find a game with several human players.

No it seems you have to organize other players outside of the game, then meet there on the Meta Server for the game.
Sounds like crap to me... easier to organize a board game of Diplomacy
