Do you have any tips to have a high Army Tradition? i never get above 50 maybe 60. doesn't matter which country...
As of 1.13, high army tradition isn't a thing anymore without ideas after mil tech 13 (and hard before). Since obsolete forts apparently don't yield army tradition anymore, without ideas I usually stagnate around 30 or so after being able to build bastions. I guess you can compensate a little if you take offensive or quality, or you can just try to gamble. Sometimes you get a good leader even with 20 tradition, so if mil power isn't that big an issue, good leaders are probably a better investment than development.Do you have any tips to have a high Army Tradition? i never get above 50 maybe 60. doesn't matter which country...

This time I recorded the whole thing so if you are interested in seeing how I did it you can watch it on YouTube.
Sorry but ATM I don´t have time to do the somewhat promised 30 minutes video explaining the highlights of my game; I might do it over the next two weeks or I might not do it at all due to lack of time (I work for a living too and YouTube is just an hobby).I still haven't had the time to watch the videos ... I suck.
Thanks. I overextended beyond 200% by accident before. More accurately I fed my vassal that much by accident. It was late, I was tired, then after that it was a serious of mistakes trying to wipe out half a mil of rebels and flurry of shipping my units from one end to another just to wipe them out. Only then I went to sleep.
In another I bought a diplo idea with 5 wars pending diplo points, three of which I needed to close out co-belligerants asap. I ended up peacing out with very little to no territories gained in many of those![]()
I have one big question for you: How do you keep expanding with that high overextension? In Episode 40 you have 214% Overextension. In my games everything above 140% is practically lethal to my nation and yet you seem to be just sitting there and conquer even more lands.
Is there a trick how you deal with impossible high overextension or am I missing out a huge part of the game mechanics?
IIRC as of 1.14 the rebels factions need at the very least 10 months before rebels can spawn; IIRC a Shiva Ottomans with adaptability need only 11 months to core so unless we are hugely unlucky the rebels won´t be able to spawn with "only" a 75% chance of progressing towards rebellion every month. In short the trick is to have very low unrest due to Humanist and very short coring times. I even had a plan to reduce the ottomans coring times to ~7 months which should let me break my 1579 One tag WC record (well at least under 1.15 but it should still be possible under 1.16 but much harder due to corruption).I'm really curious to hear about this too. Do the thresholds of how much OE a typical player can survive go up from completing all the humanist ideas, or was the empire on the cusp of disaster most of the game (i.e. something expert players can survive, but I probably wouldn't)?
I'm also curious if there's a general rule of thumb for knowing when you've grown enough to be immune to coalitions.
