Yes, there was thread about that. The plan is to release it on Mac and Linux on day 1.

@kingofnoobs: It is so not a fait accompli. The new XCOM game just will not run on XP, because a dll invokes a command XP doesn't have yet.

Didn't Ck2 use the same command? Cause I was able to run CK2 on XP.
