One on each continent glitch?

I have at least a province on each continent. I have most of NA, a bunch of spain, northern south america, southern India, and Tangiers. But I did not get the achievement (yes I am logged in, I had gotten an achievement already this session). Does this require a core, or does it require you to be a European country, or something else that is not in the description? My only guess is maybe North Africa is not included in the part of Africa, and maybe I need to get a sub-saharan province?

Yep plop a colony down in Australia / New Zealand and you're good to go.

Yep, took Hawaii and got it. For some reason though all provinces would be under SA, NA, Europe, Africa, and Asia. Didn't think they put in Oceania, just assumed those provinces were all Asia and never hcecked.

Cherokee. This was my game going for the No Trail of Tears achievement. I usually play mods so I don't get achievements unless I go for it. I was owning pretty hard so I decided I would go for a few other ones I could pick up along the way. If anyone is interested here is the imgur album I made for that shows the state of the world at 1800 when I got the achievement.

happened to me yesterday except I had a prov in Oceania. Restarting the game helped and I got the achievement. Now the game doesn't want to count "East and West" for me. Is there any catch? I understood it I only had to have core both in the continent of Asia and the region of Carribean. Both fulfilled - achievemnt nowhere restarting like hell, still nothing.

Oh... Thats what Oceania is! I have heard it said a few times but just assumed it was a part of the US as it was usually in response to server locations.

I have only ever heard it refered to as Australasia.

Australia is a continent itself. Though Oceania is fairly commonly used name for the region, particularly when you live in Australia.

Because, if Australia is a continent, what is New Zealand? That is why we have Oceania.
