I say clean the Mediterranean!
There are still enemies to be fought, especially in Iberia!
Balkans are a mess, as always.

I am ready. The game has been throwing the odd events, so it's ready. I had a hunch Europe would give us our next outing. All of the core events and nastiness have come from that direction. I figured a GTY or a warning would send us in a direction in the near future.
It turned out I was right. Been at war pretty much since with 8 years to go.
To get the capital in a peace deal, it can't be connected to any other province - and sea connection counts.
Loved the chapter title
I'm just happy somebody got it...

And yeah. I forgot about the sea/coastline counts bit.
I figure it just gives me another excuse to DoW...
And who can't use an excuse like that...?
Come to Kenya. We've got the lions.
Isn't it bad enough we have to see them every Thanksgiving...?
Problem with embargoes: cut to trade investment (not a problem at your level of investment) and cut to TE (always annoying: reduces income from merchants). To each his own, I suppose.
I suppose the Kenyan lions are better than the Detroit ones. Hobbes is better than the Detroit Lions, and he's a stuffed tiger brought to life by the imagination of a fictitious 6-year-old boy who hasn't had a new comic in 15 years or so. Quick question: if the Rams are 1-15 and the Lions are 2-14, but the Rams' one win is against the Lions, who's better? Sorry, but once I get on any sort of jag, I can't stop. And your sig reminds me of MythBusters. But that has nothing to do with anything. So why did I say "and"? Stop writing, enf91.
Yes, embargoes cut you a little. But it's well worth it when a nation loses it's 5 or 6 merchants worth of income in your richest CoT. That and I can afford it. Many a nation has lost big time trade income for messing with me.
To answer your question, it depends on who the Lions beat. If they squeaked out wins against Cincinnati and Tampa Bay at home, The Rams. If the Lions went up to Chicago and in -13 degree wind chills took them down, and went out and beat San Diego on the coast, then I'd say the Rams got lucky.
-I hope you are planning on expanding our Indian holdings before going in other directions right now.

-Then again, seeing Austria annexed is never, ever a bad feeling....
-Swahili and Mutapa deserve to be finished off and put out of their misery.
-Futhermore, Persia must be destroyed.
I have been following the games lead this time around, just to get back into form.
VIJ has been busy, so I'm letting her wrap up whatever she's dealing with. Right now she'd be a very easy target. I don't want another Ottoman.
Austria is a good annex, but as of now they're right of center, and holding a Hungarian province that aint worth much. The other two aren't really needed. It could go either way.
You can have Swahili. They didn't get much in the way of decent anything this time around. Mutapa... meh. Some gold south as always. Maybe.
Persia will be engaged, but not yet. I've been letter her solidify a bit. She has alot of stragglers province wise that would make war too easy.
The GH is surprising me, holding off both lucky Novgorod and lucky Persia... I have a feeling if I mix it up with either the GH or Persia, I may end up facing them both. (The enemy of your enemy and all that...)
Why don't you have hegemony over the entire arabian peninsula?
Please See Below.
antracer seems to have an unexplainable tendency to not conquer sandpits
Indeed. Though not unexplainable.
What's half of nothing...?
What's a whole lot of nothing equal...?
If I have the world's largest box and it's chock full of nothing, what do I have...?
Exactly that... Nothing.
That's what it amounts too in 3/4 of the provinces out that way. I'll take what I have to, as I did with Asyut, Libya etc. But I'm not taking the baggage if it's not in the path to where I'm headed.
Besides, we have a bunch of worthless Islands to settle... The 50% Inhospitable and the Tropical and the No Connection to Capitol are going to be ruthless in making almost every last Island settled a baggage claim.
And I really don't like that area. Not in real life mind you, in game terms only. The way it's modeled can suck the life from your marrow and leave your carcass so bad even the vultures won't eat it.
The nations indigenous to the area have decisions to help boost income and revenue that aren't available to we who come from other places. I like the fact that it doesn't benefit you to be there if you don't belong there, it's a great concept. The fact I hate taking land there shows it's working very well...
Forget Norway. Where can you see tigers? Only in Kenya.
Er, I apologize.
Right, anyway. Well done etc. etc. What are your opinions on Heir to the Throne now that it's three months into release?
That it needs to be balanced. Combat is too easy. Missions of substance peter out quickly. Pirates still suck. It's better than IN. I'll never play 3.2 again after this is done. I like the new HRE and Cardinals, but I wish I could still bribe and/or influence them a bit. Nice that Manufactories are more reasonable. It's pretty. When's the final patch coming.
The usual stuff...
HTTT is good, but I've had to mod a few weird events to make them make more sense, mostly the dynastic ones.
I have a sneaking suspicion I'll be doing alot of that also. A lot of little quirky things going on. Really to be expected with that kind of effort.
I'd really like to see some commands/defines added. So much you still can't change.
Insert the obligatory super bowl joke here while awaiting an update.
Actually, aside from the fact I could care less who won, it was a decent game. The commercials were actually funny. The worst part about it was the make believe half time show. The WTF... Er, The Who what's...? Who cares they sucked. Waste of a good 10 minutes.
The baby commercial for E-trade was hilarious... (Milk a what...?)

As you may have noticed, I started on the next play segment.
Due to our size, it's 16.9 years on a slider move now, so it'll be a bit before I finish.
Anyone care to guess who got in line first to feel the Rust
...Er...Wrath...
Of the Empire...?
