I want a steampunk themed expansion.
I want Victoria II: Rust and Steam. I want some new sprites with airships, big warplanes, the controlversy between lighter-than-air or heavier-than-air, references to Roburthe Conqueror and Fogg's 80 days around the world, to Nemo's Nautilus, "professor Challenger, I presume", armoured colonial troops with portable Maxime guns, big damn clanky steam tanks and land ironclads, sea bases for airship support, air carriers for warplanes, and new trees for that kind of techs.
Didn't they go for Late Medieval norse religion and Aztecs in Europe? Well, indulge in this guilty pleasure that I'm sure many of us playing Vicky II share. Steampunk rocks and we want to open airhsip lines between London and Istanbul and New York. The Orient Airline Express sends zeppelins out to Istanbul from Paris, and the Titanic is a huge civilian dirigible that had an accident somewhere along the Northern Atlantic.
Energy fists, Tesla madness, steam powered armour, pickelhaube-sporting robots and sky dreadnoughts that vomit steam into the open sky.
A bit like Civ V did with his Empires of the Smoky Skies, an appearance close to that of Columbia from Bioshock Inifinite (minus the whoe floating city, of course) but in Victoria's full blown glory. I'd buy it even for 20 euros, damn it if I wouldn't.
