One Kingdom vs. Multiple Kingdoms

So I started a game in 867 as the Meshchera tribe in Moscow. I've had success growing from there.

I've reformed Suomenusko and adopted Eldership succession. So now, I'm looking at the three kingdoms I hold: Novgorod, Vladimir, and Chernigov. Should I make sure I'm satisfying three sets of elders, or should I destroy one or two kingdom titles to keep everything under one kingdom?

I tend to consolidate as much as possible. Much depends on my number of vassals.

That said, I've never played as Suomenusko. Don't know about those succession laws.

Maybe your experience is different than mine, but when I played with eldership and multiple kingdoms, each kingdom had a different set of elders drawn from their respective de jure territory. Some were even of different culture or religion. It's still incredibly easy to keep them voting for your desired heir with a few bribes and or favors

Just losded a game where I own Saxony, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Italy, Bavaria, Burgundy, Bohemia, Frisia, Germany and Carinthia and all of them except Denmark uses the same Elders. Denmark for some reason has one different Elder, duke tier priest of Sjealland.

Are the other elders vassals or courtiers?

One other was a landed baron tier priest and another a count tier Chieftain but not direct vassals of mine. The rest are courtiers.
