Hi,
After successful WC achievement as Poland, I decided to do one faith as Byzantium. I allied a lot of small countries like Karaman, Walachia, Tribazoind and Ottomans declared on me. While they were in Trebizond, I manage to conquer ederine, but then Venice declared war on me . After war, I moved my capital to dalmatia and joined the empire, so now I'm going to do faith flip into Catholic, to become the emperor. it a good idea? Should I go with infulence idea as first ? Any advices ?

I would advice to stay orthodox. The full bonus it gives, increases the stability of your nation, gives more missionary strenght and you can take Rome without a penalty and get another missionary when you restore the pentargy. Also, if you can achieve religious peace in the HRE, you can still become emperor.
Another thing is that Orthodox gives more manpower in your orthodox provinces and the bonus that you can activate with your papal authority is pretty neat to have.

I cant advice you on first idea groups, since i'm not used to world conquests.

If you want to make a serious vie for becoming Emperor you should go Catholic. Also, several major colonizers are Catholic. Converting New World territory was the hardest part of my One Faith run.

For a first idea group you can't go wrong with Admin. You have lots of coring to do.
