Won't mention his name but its a person on my IM list. He built over 200 subs to try and destroy the UK fleet and thier convoys and he lost. He said the UK navy hunted them down and destroyed them.
He then proceeded to build 30 Nav bombers to destroy the UK navy but the carriers and land based fighters kepted his bombers at bay and it was costing him tons in repairs to do it.
Finally he invaded France with a smaller than average army because of his 200 subs and big fleet that even though he started his attack in late 1939 he was not able to take France out till august 1940!
Lesson learned here is be more careful! He still has yet to get to DDay though
