on the map editor where is the map saved to

where is the map saved to once you save it in the editor. i saved a map but cant find it

I had this problem too.

C:\Users\*YOURUSER*\AppData\LocalLow\Colossal Order\Cities in Motion 2

It is NOT in the steam folder.

I hope this can get changed to allow for changing folder to our the user choice

What a weird location! It's pretty much the defacto standard. Most, if not all, games save their assets such as savegames and profiles, and in this matter, user created maps, in the My Documents/My Games or similar, but not hidden like that!
