Hello all,

This has probably already been asked and solved but it is driving me bonkers. I haven't been able to find it elsewhere on here or other forums. I love pretty much everything about the game so far and can't imagine the devoted and hard-working devs would have just let this slip...

So, in editor, I'm trying to build a highway to regular road connection with off and on ramps. However, when I do so, the end of the ramp closest to the regular road/at the junction with the regular road always gets road markings placed on it.

So far, these have been white lines indicating a division of the road into two lanes and a double headed arrow in the right lane, indicating that traffic will be coming from the the direction of the ramp and turning. In cases where the ramp purely serves as an off from the highway or even an on to it - what is the point of this? The traffic on the ramp will be moving in one direction only.

Anyone know a way around this or if they can be edited out in the editor?

If you do and you tell me, I will love you FOREVER. Honestly. :D

A screenshot would explain it much better.
But if I understand what you meant, this is just a cosmetic problem, and it will not affect the traffic coming on and off the highway.

Thanks for response. I know it's just cosmetic but it's really bugging me.

Cant figure out how to get image on here yet, but I think you get the gist.

This happens at the junction between on/off ramp and the normal road, regardless of whether or not the on/off ramp is exiting or joining the highway.

It does not effect traffic flow but just looks rubbish

After some further experimenting, I can confirm that this is an issue peculiar to "large roads" only. The markings/arrows on said large roads seem to spread up the off ramp for some reason.

This isn't a problem if you connect highway off/on ramps to "small roads" or "avenues" as no road-markings appear on either.

Which is good enough for me! Now I can get back to building...sorry to have wasted your time but thanks to those that responded.
