Change to Tech Tree
Uplift of an entire species is far more daunting task than tweaking an existing species (something that we are almost able to do now with current technology, see for example gene therapy). It therefore seems odd that epigenetic triggers is a prerequisite to other technologies. Why do you need to know how to uplift a space-weasel in order to make humans smarter?

User-nameable Modified Species

Rather than having continental-preference and arid-preference humans all called humans, it would be nice to be able to rename modified species via free-text entry.
