Stop it! I can't take it! I need IN. I need to start a rebellion in France and take the throne and lead it down its rightful path and kick the English back to their little island!

I'd rather see that happen. Can't beat an army of rabble = no repect from Wenceslaus.

But 50 stars is a bit too many... The Union Jack is much more to my taste (You get a bonus for that at least ;) )

And besides... I think the cows are startled this morning. *Goes outside to investigate* It's that bloody Gates! To arms! Loyalists!!!!!! :D

Yay! God ahs delivered me victory :D, historically, three years ago England was kicked out of France, If I had been King in 1399, I would also be the King Of France.

Sillyilly, France mvoed its capital around 1410, then Burgundy invaded them and I took my chance, two wars later and you see before you the United Kingdom of England and France.

P.S Anyone else think excommunication is abit too powerful? I had 2bb, then my ally Spain excommunicates me, now I'm at war with everyone, expect Scotland and Portugal (And one province France). I had around +90 relations with the Pope and nows its nearing 200, is there anyway I can stop being excommunicated? My bloody King won't die

In my first IN game as France, I've been excommunicated three times. Twice by England, but rightly so since I've been beating the bloody piss out of them. (Pun intended)

The third time was by the Palitinate, but I've challenged the HRE enough times for that to make sense. (A succession war against Austria for three-province Baden, and a war with the North-Italian minors)

So although it is powerful, my standing army and alliance with Castille is a large deterrant to anyone silly enough to come after me. That just means I need to keep up on bribing those slippery cardinals!

Absolutely correct. I didn't realize this till after my third excommunication, unfortunately. :p

Ahh, okay! And how does this feature work? What determines the new capital? Is it the highest tax base?

You can't do that, can you? I wish I knew that before!

And Mandead, asking Where did France find 1,000 ducats? Its France, they have like 1000000000000 ducats and 1000000000000000 men. :D

I was 90 relations.

Also, allying with the Papacy should null the excummincation. The Papal States are joing me (Excommunicated) Against Spain (Who excummincated me) Hungary now controls the Curia.

I hate France. They're king (9,9,9 king of course.. )is a 6 shock general and kills 900 of my troops in each shock phase. :eek:o

My two 25k strong armies disappear into nothingness.

And sieges are very, very strange now.
I do hate them, too! They DOWed me every 5 years the peace treaty expired! The first time I took my chances to vassalize those bloody scots up north, but I completely ran out of manpower! I wasn't able to establish more than two 9k armies... how did you bring up 50.000 men?!? The only way to avoid being kicked out of france was using my navy to ping-pong my armies around the french coasts, but finally they allied with castille and that was too much for me :( those bloody bastards finally kicked me out... Damn, I'll have to try again :D

Ally with Castille early on, it should be easy.

Also, as soon as the war starts, let Aquatine fall, it keeps France's 30,000 stacks down there, then invade Cuax, then Paris, you will usually have to gight one major battle, but after this one, France always leaves me alone for a bit, then rush and capture as much as you can, only fight the French when you know your going to win. One defeat and you've pretty much lost the entire war.

Finally, rebels get quite annoying, I usually eitehr leave them untill I've finished (The war should be over quickly, if not, your eitehr brilliant or doing something wrong)

Also, give Burgundy military access, it keeps them off your back, they help you out with rebels, and they might invade France aswell, if they do, congradualtions, you've won!

Thank's for the advice, I'll give it a try! But still the question how to support a 50k army...? Nevermind, I'll wait for the right moment to fall in their back whilst at war with another larger power, maybe. The only catch is, they're allied with all the other major powers around them... bloody french bastards! I shall not rest until I crushed them! :D
