Having EUII in with EU is ok (EU did start it all!), but what hurts is being lumped in with those other 2 titles (2 thrones, crown of the north..)YodaMaster said:

Well I've been wondering from the release of EUIII how long EUII was going to be visible on front page. Guess I got my answer now.

Actually it isn't so much of EUII been put with the "older titles". It is more about the way the sub forum was put in such a way that few people(new or coming back) will notice it is there. It seems more like a "forget this crap, we want to sell the new junk" kind of thing. Is paradox trying to erase its past or something? :wacko: Then they should have started with their biggest failure, diplomacy

I'm a little surprised that the mods have allowed this thread to continue. Maybe it means we are now flying under the radar.
Other than that, I'm a little bothered. After all, EU2 still has a healthy modding community and this forum has considerably more traffic than the other "older titles" and a comparable level roughly to CK or Vicky. So despite the age of the game, I would think that based on forum traffic, EU2 rationally just makes the cut, rather than just missing.
So, on the basis of that, I guess I would respectfully ask any who have the power to do so to consider returning EU2 to the front page to be alongside its natural partners of Crusader Kings and Victoria.
Beyond that, I'll just go along with the idea of "Oh, well..." No use in hanging around complaining about it.

Why shouldn't this thread stay open?
All we are doing is expressing our sadness at EU2's relegation. We are all smart enough to understand that its not going to change.
I'm sure Paradox mods are looking at this thread and are happy so many people have posted so far.

Got to say I was very sad when I saw this new system. I have not been in thsi forum for a little while now, but it has always given me pleasure in reading other people's comments and thoughts about EUII.

Honestly folks do you really expect a company like Paradox to devote prime Internet real estate to a product that they (Paradox) have not worked on in many years and is producing next to no revenue for them?
This was a financial decision pure and simple.
For those of you who are really active in this community you will still visit and still be able to converse with all your fellow EU2ites.
Live with the change cause other gaming companies are not so generous with their Forum space.
